Cockatoo

It is a common sight, pale snow white Cockatoos spread all along the curbs or anywhere with a bit of grass and a few trees. Oblivious to passers-by or any traffic they enjoy their feed and ride the cold wind chasing each other — accompanied, of course, with unmistakable piercing screeches. A loud mob.

Last day of autumn

It was the end of the season. The last day of May. Despite the circumstances I found myself glancing observantly at a few cheerful flowers one bright morning, and of course some unavoidable imprints of late autumn.
